Big Day

Ian is starting to ask a lot of questions about what happened. He looked at his facebook a little and was a little overwhelmed of the response from his friends. He gets that his friends have poured out their thoughts and prayers to him. But he is confused about the sequence of events and what happened. He has no recall of the incident or anything before today. We need to be careful not to go too fast.

Lord, grant us with patience; bless our boy with a full recovery so that he can be a testament to your glory. Amen.

  3. Puran, continue being patient – you have come such a long way in a short time! First, kids are resilient – when you hear about miracles – it almost always involves kids because they are young and spring back. Second, don’t worry about his mind yet. When my husband had shoulder surgery, he talked gibberish for the days after. It is a confusing experience for your body to be out and come back. Your body has to expel all those drugs. Third, as far as memory, he is probably overwhelmed. One minute, a ball is coming at him and the next, all these people are observing him in a hospital. Matthew said to remind him that he is not being graded on his responses! If you’d like different faces to pop in for a visit, Matthew will be there in a second.
Please, let us know how we can help. (248-813-9848)

  4. I've heard that it's very common for a person not to recall traumatic events. Don't be too concerned about that. He's making such remarkable progress! God is with you.
